As a member-owner, you have a voice in the cooperative which enables you to vote on bylaws and elect Directors at your Annual Meeting. Every member receives the Hi-Lites newsletter each month which keeps you informed on the latest news at your cooperative.

New Construction
To receive electric service to a location that is not currently receiving service you have the option to do one of the following:
1. Call our Mount Vernon office at 618-244-5151.
2. Complete the application process in person at either of our locations in Mt. Vernon or Salem.
3. Complete the application process online.
Once the proper paperwork is completed, an engineer will schedule an appointment at the site to review any work that needs to be completed before the service can be built.
Did you know that all new construction, primary residence homes are eligible to receive a water heater from the cooperative for $1? If you are building a new, primary residence home in the TCEC service territory, you qualify to receive a 50-gallon, all-electric A.O.
