Now Hiring: Superintendent of Operations

Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc., located in Mount Vernon, Illinois, is seeking applicants for the position of Superintendent of Operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for organizing all construction and maintenance work for the cooperative while ensuring that the electrical system is operated and maintained safely and at the highest degree of reliability. 

The successful applicant will also be in charge of fleet and equipment purchases. A minimum of 10 years experience in cooperative line construction is preferred and an engineering background helpful. Experience with work layout and employee supervision is important. The qualified applicant must be self-motivated and highly organized. Strong people skills as well as communication, motivational and planning skills are required.

Tri-County Electric serves 16,500 meters and 3,400 miles of line in a three-county area in Southern Illinois. Excellent educational, recreational and cultural facilities available.
